Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA seeks a Production Test Technician on first shift to test assembled parts and products for defects using precision instruments and complex test equipment. Emphasis is on 5S, safety, calibration and quality per established procedures.

The role requires electronics knowledge, 1–2 years of related experience, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams to support testing and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field or equivalent electronics military schooling/experience.
• High-power electronics/avionics experience may substitute education.
• 1–2 years of direct experience in essential functions expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Test and troubleshoot less complex assemblies and final systems.
• May assist in rework on assemblies or systems after testing.
• Prepare reports summarizing findings.
• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity.
