Job summary

Astronics AES, a subsidiary of Astronics Corporation, is seeking a Sr. Production Test Technician for First Shift in Redmond, WA.

The role focuses on mechanical/electrical knowledge, with emphasis on training, testing, and quality under set procedures and guidelines. The candidate will assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex assemblies and final systems, using standard test equipment, and will work with engineers on development and data collection.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or related field/ equivalent electronics military schooling and experience required
• 2-4 years direct experience in the essential functions of the position
• High-power electronics and/or high-power avionics technician experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Responsibilities

• Perform functions related to manufacturing operations including set-up, troubleshooting, rework, and quality testing related to production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies
• Assemble, test and troubleshoot complex assemblies and/or final systems with standard test equipment and analyze results
• Setup of specialized test equipment
• Use programs to collect and evaluate operating and test data
• May assist in developing methods and procedures to modify the manufacturing process
• May work with engineers in conducting experiments
