Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an experienced Senior Production Technician in Swiftwater, PA to oversee production processes and ensure quality and regulatory compliance. The role involves leading training, equipment maintenance, and coordination with lead technicians to maintain continuous operation.

The position requires strong mechanical and computer skills, cGMP/pharma experience, and readiness to work a demanding shift while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS or GED with 3+ yrs in cGMP or pharmaceutical experience.
• Associates with 2+ yrs in cGMP or pharmaceutical experience.
• Bachelors with 1+ yr in cGMP or pharmaceutical experience.
• Good mechanical skills, computer skills and is detail oriented.
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude, computer skills, good comprehension skills, retention skills, troubleshooting and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in at least but not limited to one area of operation or product line.
• Must be a qualified trainer in one or more areas.
• Must have access to systems in applicable buildings and processes which have these systems (SFD, PI, Metasys, Lab watch).

Responsibilities

• Ensure FDA regulatory compliance in all processes.
• Maintain and repair equipment; monitor software/hardware issues.
• Train and guide personnel on procedures, cGMP, safety, and SAP for timely signoffs.
• Ensure documentation like BPRs and logs are accurate and timely.
• Support deviations investigations, CAPA, CCR, and other projects.
• Coordinate with Lead Technicians to ensure continuous operation.
• Prepare areas for next shift to maintain efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures and uphold HSE standards.
• Participate in safety walks, meetings, and improvement initiatives.
