Job summary

SMS Mill Services LLC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a unionized team in a 12-hour shift environment at the Coatesville, PA site. This frontline role focuses on productivity, safety, and cost-effective operations within a steel mill services setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management experience in heavy industrial services, preferably in a union environment, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a heavy industrial service sector.
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a unionized production team across shifts to maximize production and control costs.
• Ensure a safe workplace by enforcing PPE rules and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily reports and coordinate with management on inspections and checklists.
• Oversee scrap yard operations, rail services, and environmental compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to SOPs.
