Job summary

Autoneum Holding AG is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee a large shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with procurement, maintenance and quality control to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

The role requires eight years in progressive manufacturing, at least three years of supervisory experience (preferably in a union environment), and familiarity with JIT manufacturing and QS 9000 / ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in progressive manufacturing.
• Three years supervisory experience, union environment preferred.
• Experience with JIT manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QS 9000 / ISO 9001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily production requirements for shift and ensures resources are in place to meet targets and quality standards.
• Plans and directs production activities and establishes priorities to optimize operations and costs.
• Coordinates production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to maximize utilization of resources.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Works with Engineering and Maintenance to improve methods and product quality.
• Revises production schedules in response to equipment issues or operational problems.
• Advises on changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Maintains a safe work environment and participates in accident investigations.
• Provides direction and support for interpretation of company policies to department personnel.
• Maintains time and production records and participates in Employee Involvement meetings.
• Orientates, trains and evaluates employees on new jobs and performance.
