Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Production Supervisor for its Pelzer, SC manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. You will oversee 60+ staff, drive production targets, and improve overall performance, safety, and quality across CNC machining, feeders, and powder lines.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires strong leadership, KPI discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to ship on time and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of senior supervision/management experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in ERP/MRP electronic production control systems.
• Proven track record of leadership to achieve production targets for a customer-focused company.
• Strong background with KPIs to meet business goals.
• Extensive experience in people management, training, performance, and safety.
• Demonstrated health & safety awareness in a factory.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-level communication skills.
• Daily coordination with Production Manager and teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate 60+ personnel under Production Manager direction.
• Manage output across CNC machining, feeders, machine shop, and powder lines.
• Improve performance and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs.
• Recruitment and employee relations, including performance assessments.
• Oversee health & safety and compliance within the shift.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely shipping of products.
• Conduct disciplinary meetings and conduct return-to-work reviews.
