Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Production Supervisor for its Pelzer, SC facility to lead 60+ staff across CNC, feeders, and machine shop operations on 3 rotating shifts. You will drive production targets, health and safety, and employee engagement, reporting to the Production Manager within the Plant Manager's remit.

You will mentor teams, improve performance, manage recruitment/staff development, and ensure KPIs are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years senior supervision/management in a production/manufacturing environment.
Experience in ERP/MRP electronic production control systems.
Proven track record of leading to production targets within a customer-focused company.
Experience working with KPIs to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

Manage 60+ personnel under Production Manager supervision.
Oversee output of CNC machining operations, feeders, machine shop, powder line and related processes.
Communicate with Production Manager, Scheduler Team Leaders, Team Lead Support, Project Engineers, Logistics and Stores to meet deadlines and ship on time.
Conduct disciplinary meetings and performance reviews.
Drive health, safety and employee engagement initiatives.
