Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Sr. Operations Scheduler for the Tempe, AZ campus. This on-site role partners with MPC, SNP, engineering, and operations to manage value stream planning, work orders, and material availability to meet production needs.

You will monitor KPIs, support SAP master data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize schedules and throughput. Ideal candidates have a strong background in supply chain planning, SAP, Lean Six Sigma, and project management within

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of supply chain planning experience; advanced degree acceptable with 2+ years.
Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain; MS/MBA preferred.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Access and Excel.
Working knowledge of SAP, Factoryworks and Blue Yonder.
Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution planning, logistics or warehousing.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements.
Advise on material availability, inventory levels, and potential disruptions.
Schedule equipment and personnel; prepare work orders and requisitions.
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with QA, purchasing, engineering, inventory, and logistics.
Support MRP master data in SAP; troubleshoot material scheduling issues.
Participate in tiered meetings and communicate updates on material availability and priorities.
Collaborate daily with manufacturing operations and cross-functional partners.
Monitor and improve scheduling KPIs: schedule adherence, backlog, and inventory forecasting.
