Job summary

Doe Run Co. Buick Resource and Recycling Division seeks a Production Superintendent to oversee lead operations and Pb alloy processing at BRRD in Boss, MO. You will coordinate activities to maximize asset value and support best business practices.

The role requires 3+ years of management in manufacturing and a degree in operations/engineering (or HS diploma with equivalent experience). You will lead safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience.
• HS diploma with 7 years' experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial operations, production or related operational environment.
• Hazardous waste and lean manufacturing certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations teams in various departments.
• Lead Safety and Environmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Identify, hire, train, and supervise staff to sustain a quality workforce for furnace and refining units.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching; manage succession planning.
• Develop and manage the department budget and forecast.
• Identify and implement improvements for continuous growth.
• Empower supervisors to maintain EHS compliance; audit performance; address incidents and drive EHS improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
