Job summary

Brose in Michigan seeks a production supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a safe, efficient operation. You will plan capacity, coach staff, and implement shift schedules to meet customer and business goals while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential to sustain quality, delivery, and cost targets within a family-owned growth environment.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
5+ years in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with SAP, MES, and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production while meeting targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
Plan and manage production capacity, manpower, equipment, and resources to satisfy requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop employees to build a high-performing team.
Develop shift schedules and workforce plans to support objectives.
Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to reach targets.
Identify and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis.
Promote continuous improvement using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work).
Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, policies, and regulations.
Maintain strong safety culture and adherence to HSE requirements.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, and Planning to improve performance and on-time delivery.
