Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Production & Quality Engineer for the MQE Division, to provide domain engineering support for a DoD program at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role requires extensive DoD experience and on-site presence with occasional travel to industry sites.

Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, ensuring producibility, conducting quality research, and supporting PRRs, MRAs, QSEs, EIs, and SETR events to improve fleet readiness.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in a technical/scientific field is required.
• Alternate BS/BA with four years of additional relevant experience.
• At least ten years in engineering, with three in DoD systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Production & Quality on an early development classified program.
• Evaluate suppliers and assess design, development and manufacturing/quality planning.
• Contribute to risk assessments and support Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
• Support producibility discussions in design reviews and program meetings.
• Identify causes of manufacturing or quality problems and propose solutions.
• Assist in audits, MRAs, QSEs, EIs and SETR-related activities.
