Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) seeks a Senior Production & Quality Engineer for the MQ&E Division within NAVAIR’s Systems Acquisition Group.

The candidate will provide research analysis and technical domain engineering support for the MQ&E program (PMA-268) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD, with 30% travel to industry sites. The role focuses on production and quality planning, producibility assessment, and readiness activities to ensure affordability and fleet readiness

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance.
MS or MA in technical/scientific field (or BS + 4 years experience).
At least 10 years in engineering, 3 of which must be DoD-related.
Industrial engineering background desired.
Well versed in Aircraft Design.
Experience with on-aircraft inspections.

Responsibilities

Provide support for MQ-25 Stingray production and quality engineering.
Evaluate design producibility and manufacturing/quality planning.
Prepare technical risk assessments for decision meetings.
Support readiness reviews and Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
Identify causes of manufacturing, producibility, or quality problems and propose solutions.
Support design reviews with input on producibility and processes.
Conduct quality research and data analysis to improve MQ&E products.
Assist MQ&E leadership to improve programs and fleet readiness.
