Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Production Execution Senior Program Manager for the Excalibur 1b contract. You will lead production for US Army and FMS, drive cross-functional teams, manage supplier relations, and report to the Excalibur 1b Program Associate Director. Security clearance required (DoD Secret). Onsite role with potential travel; USA citizenship required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years, or an advanced degree with 7+ years
• Experience in aerospace/defense development, capture, production or sustainment
• Leadership experience
• Experience leading EAC process and risk and opportunity management
• Ability to balance technical, cost and schedule on a program

Responsibilities

• Support and drive AOP objectives and action plans
• Lead the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations
• Execute daily program management and cadence such as risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, PMRs, staffing reviews and decision reviews to achieve contract/financial commitments
• Lead production proposal activities
• Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and IPDS, including gate reviews and the GEM tool, and corporate- and business-level policies
• Identify and implement key program assessments and metrics to develop situational awareness charts and performance assessments for leadership
• Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
