Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Production Planning Manager Supervisor. You will lead a team of planners, optimize planning processes, and revise schedules to meet production goals while coordinating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering.

A strong background in manufacturing and SAP/SAP Ariba is preferred. Opportunity to drive efficiency and profitability within a global energy leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration, or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SAP/SAP Ariba strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planners to ensure customer needs are met and aligned with demand.
• Implement or improve planning processes to boost efficiency.
• Revise production schedules due to changes, shortages, or interruptions, coordinating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
• Coordinate delivery, assembly, or distribution to meet production schedules and expedite material flow.
• Collaborate with vendors or customers to resolve complaints and delays and coordinate production or shipping activities.
