Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Production Planning Manager Supervisor to lead a team of planners, streamline production scheduling, coordinate with engineering and operations, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing inventory and costs.

Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in manufacturing, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and SAP/SAP Ariba experience; strong data analysis and forecasting skills are essential to drive efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with SAP/SAP Ariba strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a group of planners to ensure that customer needs are met.
Implement new or improved planning processes to improve efficiency and performance.
Revise production schedules when required and coordinate with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to expedite flow of materials.
Coordinate production or shipping activities with vendors or customers to resolve delays.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas.
Forecast demand or create supply plans to ensure availability of materials or products.
Document supply chain processes with operations team.
