Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years progressive professional and/or supervisory experience; or Master's Degree with 4+ years relevant experience.
• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• Associate's Degree with 2 years of exempt experience or 4 years of non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above
• High School/GED with 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or exempt experience
• High School/GED with 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or non-exempt experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and coordinate with material requirements.
• Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Schedule equipment and personnel, confirm material supply and demands, prepare work orders or purchase requests.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.
• Expedite the movement of parts by move orders, stock transfers and shipping requests.
