Job summary

Komline, a growing manufacturing company, seeks a Production Planning Manager to lead the production planning and scheduling function. You will align materials, labor, equipment, and capacity to meet customer commitments and business objectives, partnering with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Project Management to maintain accurate schedules and support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with Lean/continuous improvement a plus.]
• Experience in engineered-to-order or complex production environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements and capacity.
• Monitor status, backlog, and capacity to identify risks and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to address shortages and delays.
• Balance workloads and improve material flow through the plant.
• Maintain planning data in Microsoft D365 and related systems.
• Lead planning meetings and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives.
• Develop planning procedures, reports, and dashboards.
• Coach and develop Production Planning team members.
• Support cross-functional projects and other duties as assigned.
