Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Production Planning Controls Specialist to join our Asset and Operations Management Department. You will work with the equipment lifecycle team and production staff to maintain metrics, assess demand, and support risk assessments and investment plans.

You will generate fiscal plans and reports for stakeholders, coordinate across missions, and help standardize processes to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q-level clearance.
• MBA OR advanced technical degree is desirable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and asset management.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Confluence, WordPress, Power BI, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively communicate across organizational boundaries with both technical staff and management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and complete competing programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date metrics and data to support risk assessments and investment plans.
• Assess demand with production teams and management to determine equipment data and capacity needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and update inputs for current/planned system needs.
• Prepare fiscal plans, presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate across missions to improve business operations and standardize processes.
