Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking a Production Planner in Minnesota to partner with plant leadership and manage daily production schedules, inventory flow, and material planning across product lines. The role focuses on coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets, while improving planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent not listed here; required degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Production Planning Experience or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or related field.
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own backlog management, ATPs, fill rate, and inventory flow for assigned product lines or operational areas.
• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
• Create, release, prioritize, and update work orders within the ERP system.
• Monitor production progress and revise schedules to support accurate completion dates and on-time delivery.
• Identify and communicate production bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and material shortages, and drive timely resolution.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
