Job summary
Banner Engineering is seeking a Senior Planning Analyst to advance inventory planning and stocking strategy at our Brooklyn Park, MN campus. The role partners with Operations, Commercial, Product Management, and regional teams to translate demand signals into actionable inventory plans and policy adjustments.
You will define stock priorities, monitor in-stock performance, and drive governance across regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 5+ years in demand/inventory planning or related manufacturing analytics.
- Strong ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with ERP/forecasting and data visualization tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support stocking program strategy and min/max logic.
- Analyze inventory availability, forecast inputs, and distributor requirements.
- Align stocking decisions with product-family strategy and lifecycle.
- Translate stocking strategy into replenishment and production plans.
- Develop reporting and dashboards to monitor in-stock levels.
- Identify root causes of stockouts and inventory imbalances.
- Support monthly forecast and inventory reviews.
- Evaluate demand patterns using ABC/XYZ and lifecycle stages.
- Coordinate with regional teams on channel inventory needs.
