Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is hiring for a role that plans and coordinates production schedules for shipbuilding programs. You will ensure timely flow of materials, advise on work in progress and potential issues, and collaborate across QA, engineering, and manufacturing to maintain schedule integrity.

The role emphasizes strong planning, communication, and organizational skills to support a large, multi-class navy shipbuilding environment in Pascagoula, MS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or above and 3 years' experience.
• Internal candidates only: 18 months of Surveyor-Outside (P) or 1st Class Journeyman experience

Responsabilités

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules to meet production requirements.
• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, prepares work orders or purchase requests for production or components.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and shipping.
