A thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations.

Responsibilities

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates material requirements to meet production needs.
Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Schedules equipment and personnel; confirms material supply and demands; prepares work orders or purchase requests.
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and logistics.
Schedules and expedites the movement of parts via move orders, stock transfers and shipping requests.
