Job summary

Westrock in Conway, AR is seeking a Production Planner III to translate demand signals into a production schedule that meets customer needs and maximizes efficiency. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain to sustain continuous production flow and develop other planners.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning, strong forecasting and leadership skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years in production planning in food/beverage manufacturing or similar.
• Experience managing diverse internal stakeholders (forecasting, inventory, maintenance, QA).
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
• Financial understanding of P&L and ability to drive profit.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment with internal/external customers.
• Knowledge of S&OP process preferred and familiarity with MRP.
• Management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create production schedules to balance staffing, capacity, and efficiency.
• Evaluate SKU demand allocations and plan site production schedules.
• Organize and run S&OP meetings focused on profitability and customer support.
• Adjust replenishment settings to maintain inventory levels.
• Coordinate with plant leadership on production within budget.
