Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Fremont, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to build and manage the Master Production Schedule for a large-volume facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, analytics, engineering or related field; Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in production environments.
• Experience in supervisory or managerial roles is often preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows OS and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and own the build plan of a large volume production facility.
• Develop, maintain, and reconcile the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to customer demand and on-time delivery targets.
• Adhere to 100% on-time delivery goals and escalate schedule risks as needed.
• Validate work orders before release for production and review BOMs.
• Forecast capacity and labor requirements based on demand.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, program management, sales, and supply chain to ensure material readiness and schedule alignment.
• Manage materials for production from release to purge and track WIP inventory metrics.
• Lead capacity discussions to improve utilization and meet customer needs.
• Communicate risks, schedule impacts, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Document standard work procedures for planning processes and support training.
• Maintain the capacity planning model and optimize run quantities and changeover times.
