SanMar in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Production Planner to manage inventory depth targets for specific product categories. You will forecast demand, oversee monthly projections, and coordinate orders to meet target inventory depth and flow plans.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a mostly office-based setting with some collaboration. Flexible with change and able to handle pressure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of applicable work experience or equivalent education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Responsive to staff needs including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others.
• Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
• Be able to work under pressure within a time frame.

Responsibilities

• Accurately analyze and forecast style, color and size demand for specific product categories.
• Manage monthly projections and adjustments.
• Manage and develop orders to support target depth of inventory and flow plans
• Review website to ensure product descriptions and other information is accurately presented.
• Proactively react to changes in business and work with internal/external partners to replenish inventory as quickly as possible.
• Partner with Production Planning Assistant to monitor orders and to expedite as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
