Job summary

PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO seeks a Production Planner to own end-to-end scheduling for an assigned scope, tracking work orders through all operations, ensuring releases align with the plan.

You will surface risks early, maintain data quality, and provide reliable status updates to operations, supply chain, and programs while advancing ERP proficiency.

You will partner with production supervision, engineering, and quality, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement and optimize shop-floor flow.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 2+ years in production planning, production control, or manufacturing coordination.
• Strong Excel skills; able to read shop travelers, routings, and bill-of-materials.
• Organized, detail-driven, and able to communicate across functions; English fluency required.
• US work authorization; pre-employment drug screen and background check.”

Responsibilities

• Plan and track assigned scope end-to-end, monitoring work orders and releases.
• Surface and escape risk early; resolve capacity conflicts per defined escalation process.
• Manage nonconformance and rework flow with quality and engineering.
• Maintain master data quality for item masters, BOM lines, and routings.
• Keep transaction discipline with timely material issues and status updates.
• Provide reliable status to operations, supply chain, and program stakeholders.
• Support capacity analysis and ERP implementation efforts; refine standard planning work.
• Collaborate with production supervision, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standard work for planning transactions.
