Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead the gas turbine package manufacturing schedule across Sedalia, MO and Houston, TX. You will own the master schedule, drive capacity balancing, and ensure material flow aligns with project milestones.

You will guide master data readiness, collaborate across sites, and lead ERP-related transitions while developing a high-performing planning team capable of sustaining long-cycle assemblies and complex engineering integrate activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in production control, planning, or project-based manufacturing scheduling with leadership experience.
• Experience planning large, long-cycle assemblies and working across multiple sites.
• Hands-on ERP experience; strong Excel and capacity-modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the package build schedule across both sites, sequencing assembly to engine delivery dates and milestones.
• Optimize cross-site capacity by documenting bay occupancy, constraints, and build durations, balancing Sedalia and Houston.
• Lead master data readiness for packaging scope, cleanse item masters, BOMs, routings, and manage engineer-to-order variants.
• Integrate material coordination across two campuses with staging, kitting, and defined shortage escalation.
• Serve as a functional lead through ERP implementation for packaging scope, perform UAT, validate cross-site workflows, and own planned orders and releases.
• Connect package planning to enterprise planning by providing accurate supply signals to master scheduling and S&OP.
• Partner with continuous improvement to standardize planning work and drive reductions in shortages.
• Develop the team by building planner and coordinator capability across sites and defining role standards.
