Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Production Planner in Sedalia, MO to own end-to-end scheduling for assigned scope within the ERP environment. You will surface risks early, maintain accurate data, and coordinate with production, quality, and engineering to keep the schedule on track.

The role requires 2+ years in production planning, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English. Office location is 2001 Proenergy Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301 with pre-employment screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in production planning, production control, or manufacturing coordination.
• Technical: Strong Excel; comfortable with shop travelers, routings, and BOM.
• Working style: Organized, detail-driven; calm under shifting priorities.
• Fluency: Must be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• US work authorization is required; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track assigned scope end-to-end; monitor work orders through operations.
• Surface and elevate risk early; resolve capacity conflicts per escalation process.
• Manage nonconformance and rework flow for modules with planned replanning.
• Work planning exception queue daily; rescheduling, expediting, or deferring with rationale.
• Own master data quality: item masters, BOM lines, and routing steps.
• Maintain transaction discipline: accurate material issues, completions, status updates.
• Provide reliable status to operations, supply chain, and program stakeholders.
• Support capacity analysis and ERP implementation; refine standard planning work.
• Collaborate with production supervision, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standard work for planning.
