Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions seeks a Production Planning & Control Analyst (Senior) at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role centers on Buy, Make and BOM planning, MRP transactions, and materials management to drive on-time production in aerospace manufacturing.

You will maintain schedules and production orders, coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Shipping, and Operations to optimize material flow, and expedite plans to preserve the schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
• Knowledge of Inventory Control/Warehousing/Logistics processes.
• SAP or other MRP system experience.
• Customer service skills and problem resolution skills; ability to track data and provide status.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Performs Buy, Make and BOM planning activities associated with MRP transactions including procurement, materials management and shop floor control.
• Performs one or more manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions.
• Maintains schedules, production orders, purchase requests, purchase orders and mitigates part shortages.
• Plans and schedules movement of raw materials, parts, components, and related materials through receiving inspection, resulting in material movement throughout the production cycle.
• Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide priority direction for shop floor and expedite plans to preserve schedule.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain stakeholders including Procurement, Quality, Shipping & Receiving and Operations to determine time-phased plan for procured parts and ensures deliverables meet production schedule requirements.
