Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Production Packaging Lead Associate to manage packaging lines, assist in quality checks, and support safety initiatives on a 12-hour D shift in Sherman, Texas. The role requires coordinating break relief, mentoring new staff, and performing line changeovers as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in packaging operations, strong math and computer skills, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• 3+ years’ equivalent experience in packing/lead roles.
• Ability to stand long shifts and operate packaging lines.

Responsibilities

• Relieve bagger and palletizer operator as needed.
• Operate and understand robot and perform changeovers.
• Assist quality with department needs and cover for QA lead during DM Rs.
• Demonstrate safety ownership and participate in safety/QA initiatives.
• Lead packer on shift; mentor new employees on safety and quality.
