Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Production Operator V in Santa Fe Springs, CA to manufacture and repack/pump compressed gases into high pressure cylinders, perform inspections and maintenance, and move cylinders within the plant. The role requires forklift operation, safety-first mindset, and accurate log keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload cylinders using forklift and hand-truck safely.
• Move cylinders to filling and storage areas within the plant.
• Perform cylinder inspection, maintenance, and basic testing as needed.
• Complete daily fill and inventory logs accurately.
• Identify and sort cylinders for refilling and handling.
• Report equipment or safety defects to supervision.
