Pay: $85,000/yr.
Annual base salary range in California: $85,000.00

Responsibilities
- Perform filling operations according to the operations plan: collaborate to ensure safe start-up and stop, follow procedures, coordinate parameters including connection and disconnection of cylinders, valve handling, batch numbering, label application, and traceability documentation.
- Monitor and guide parameters, perform tests and check physical data to maintain quality and quantity, and support corrective actions when parameters are not aligned.
- Serve as a supportive first responder in emergency situations, initiate safety procedures, and keep management informed of safety or activity issues.
- Coordinate primary and secondary cylinder handling operations: manage empty cylinders, unloading trucks, sorting, reviewing test dates, positioning in the empty buffer zone, and loading for distribution, including forklift activity for secondary distribution.
- Collaborate to maintain compliance with safety procedures, especially lock-out and confined spaces.
- Prioritize use of protective equipment.
- Support day-to-day adherence to quality procedures for process and final product analysis, contributing to analytic plans.
- Complete operations book and administrative documentation, enter daily production data into the system, track production events, and share incident reports.
- Review SOPs, P&ID’s, PFD’s, and other technical documentation related to plant-specific equipment.
- Participate in process improvement by identifying changes from incident analysis, recognizing risks, and proposing collaborative safety or productivity changes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three to five years of industry-related experience and/or training.
- Experience and working knowledge of cylinder fill operations or similar industrial production activities.
- Proficient operation of forklift and maintained forklift certifications.
- Ability to work flexible hours and meet customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Clear and effective speaking manner for explaining information to customers and employees.
- Experience leading teams in a production environment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and operate in a drug‑free workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field.
- High school degree or equivalent with two to three years of related experience in a similar industry, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
