Job summary

Airgas in Brush Prairie, WA is hiring a Production Operator I to support loading and unloading cylinders, moving materials, and assisting filling and storage operations. You will operate forklifts and hand-trucks, stage cylinders, and help ensure safe, efficient production.

The role emphasizes teamwork and safety; a high school diploma is preferred, forklift certification is required, and flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to operate forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cylinders from inbound and outbound vehicles.
Assist with movement of cylinders as coordinated with the team.
Safely operate forklift, hand-trucks, pallet-jacks to load/unload cylinders.
Stage cylinders in designated production areas for filling.
Load/ unload all assigned company vehicles daily.
Spot trucks and trailers within designated areas on company property.
Report all cylinder shortages and equipment defects to management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly plant appearance and attend safety meetings.
