Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Production Operator II in San Jose, CA to safely handle and fill gas products into liquid, medical, and high-pressure cylinders, following all federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires operating equipment, performing safety checks, and maintaining quality control per Airgas standards. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $24.50/hr with a Pay For Performance Bonus and a broad benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D,

Qualifications

• Ability to complete training and achieve certifications for filling all cryogenic liquids and pure industrial gases.
• Ability to complete FDA, Food Grade, and CGMP Training and achieve certifications
• Must be able to operate forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Fill gas cylinders and monitor gas filling operations per procedures.
• Inspect cylinders prior to filling and perform safety checks.
• Verify product purity and correct mixtures.
• Operate forklift and load/unload cylinders.
• Maintain documentation to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards.
• Label cylinders and ensure hazardous materials handling compliance.
