Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 5–8 years in manufacturing, ideally food/beverage.
• Supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities of supervisors and staff to meet customer orders at lowest cost while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Analyze operations and metrics to maintain quality and safety; seek efficiencies and cost containment.
• Ensure SOPs are developed and maintained for all activities.
• Report deficiencies to plant leadership and resolve issues.
• Assist in safety program development and implementation.
• Enforce company policies and union rules as applicable.
• Conduct management meetings to discuss policies and operations.
• Prepare for and participate in plant inspections by regulators.
• Monitor inventory levels and approve purchases as needed.
• Prepare management reports and records.
