Job summary

CACI International is seeking a TIGS Production Operations Lead in Colorado Springs to optimize manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and lead cross-functional initiatives. You will mentor staff and ensure schedules meet customer requirements, quality standards, and cost objectives.

You will leverage Lean methodologies and data analysis to lead strategic manufacturing improvements while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have an active DoD TS to begin work.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing/production operations/operations management.
• Recognized technical expertise in manufacturing operations or process improvement.
• Experience leading large or complex projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as manufacturing subject matter expert for production planning, execution, and process optimization.
• Lead large, complex manufacturing projects involving planning, resources, and improvements.
• Analyze production data and trends to identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop strategies to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize operations using Lean.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, vendors, and logistics.
• Evaluate methods, capacity, and equipment; recommend investments and improvements.
• Ensure operations stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and coach manufacturing personnel.
