Job summary

TCOM in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a skilled Production Planner to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule. You will generate, review, and distribute production and shipment schedules, and work with department supervisors to track progress.

The role involves cost estimation for proposals, Earned Value inputs for programs, forecasting, and maintaining inventory levels while minimizing risks and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing, planning or inventory control.
• Strong coordination and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite production and material flow according to schedule.
• Develop and present plans to minimize risk and inventory investment.
• Prepare variance reports and monitor costs and schedule status.
• Lead lower classified planners during close-out phases of projects.
