Job summary

TCOM is seeking an Associate Production & Material Control Planner to coordinate material flow, review requirements, and expedite shipments to meet program schedules. You will work with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Programs to keep inventory optimized and costs controlled.

Responsibilities include forecasting material needs, maintaining status in SharePoint, and preparing reports to support program execution. A related associate degree and 2 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with focus on business, supply chain, or engineering.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing, planning or inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials to meet program schedule.
• Review material requirements and generate requisitions; track and expedite.
• Confer with supervisors to determine progress and completion dates; compile progress reports.
• Forecast volume and timing of material purchases; maintain inventory levels and costs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve material planning problems; prepare variance reports.
