Job summary

PAC NYC, a premier performing arts center at the World Trade Center, seeks a full-time Production Manager to report to the Director of Production. You will supervise production departments and lead projects across theater and lobby spaces, including rentals and special events.

You will plan, advance, schedule, and budget technical requirements, coordinating with departments and show contractors to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget productions. A passion for equity and inclusion is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of production management experience.
• Experience managing union personnel.
• Professional experience in NYC or collaboration with NYC institutions.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
• Ability to read light plots and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, develop and implement all aspects of the production process.
• Direct staff for programming and events to realize the creative vision while ensuring safety and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with DoP to assign production work, staffing and labor.
• Assist in scheduling and logistics for spaces throughout The PAC.
• Assist in creation and development of production budgets and schedules for all performances and rentals.
• Advance productions and review contracts and riders for efficient resource use.
• Collaborate with rental clients and PAC departments to ensure successful events.
• Plan production-related transportation and load-ins, including travel to other venues when needed.
• Work with artists and designers to realize high-quality work in PAC spaces.
• Support annual budgeting and reforecasting; maintain standards and procedures.
