Job summary

Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) in New York, NY seeks a full-time Production Manager to oversee production operations for theatre, opera, dance, and events. You will work with the Director of Production and a team of production staff to advance, plan, and execute all technical requirements for PAC projects and rentals.

The role emphasizes anti-racist practices, creative problem-solving, and a strategic approach to using PAC NYC’s flexible spaces.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of production leadership experience in theatre, opera, dance or related performing arts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, develop and implement all aspects of the production process.
• Supervise staff and ensure safety, on-time, on-budget delivery for productions, events, and rentals.
• Coordinate with DoP and artistic teams to schedule spaces and resources.
• Develop budgets and schedules for PAC-presented productions and rentals.
• Advance productions, review contracts and riders for efficient use of labor and materials.
• Collaborate with external artists and vendors to realize high-quality work.
• Support equity, inclusion and accessibility in all production activities.
• Work nights and weekends as required to support performances.
• Represent PAC NYC at industry events and conferences.
