Job summary

Turbine Air Systems, Ltd. in Houston, TX seeks a Manufacturing Production Manager II to lead one or more production streams, manage Supervisors and direct labor, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS while implementing new lines and continuous improvement programs. The role requires heavy mechanical experience, P&ID interpretation, and 5+ years of supervision in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Heavy mechanical background with pumps, motors, piping, valves, skid units
• Read and interpret P&ID, ISO and engineering drawings
• Perform shop math and basic calculations
• 7–10 years in manufacturing/industrial setting
• 5+ years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel
• Able to communicate issues to project engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple facility operations to complete projects on time and within budget
• Develop and coach Production Supervisors and direct labor teams
• Monitor labor, productivity, quality, schedule adherence, and costs
• Address performance issues per company policy
• Report department costs, labor performance, and risks with solutions
• Plan staffing, shifts, and equipment to meet execution commitments
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Logistics
• Establish objectives, standard work, and escalation processes
• Lead new lines, cells, layouts, and manufacturing methods
• Drive continuous improvement for flow, ergonomics, and throughput
• Manage departmental spending and assist with budgets
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance management
