Job summary

Buckhead Meat Midwest Inc.-Illinois Division seeks a Production Manager to oversee Production and Production Warehouse operations across locations. You will manage budgets and lead associates while serving as the IT/technical contact for the unit.

You will develop production schedules, allocate labor, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across teams, ensuring alignment with company policies and goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of Production/Manufacturing in a food environment; leadership experience.
• HACCP and GMP certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to ensure on-time orders.
• Determine headcount and labor utilization to meet goals.
• Schedule equipment and resources for each production plan.
• Track yield rates; ensure results meet business goals.
• Manage work orders; audit and close in correct periods.
• Set and monitor department performance metrics; align with budgets.
• Develop and monitor annual department budgets; control expenses.
