Chicago Meat Authority, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Chicago, IL to lead end-to-end meat processing operations from processing through packaging and shipment.
You will supervise hourly staff on a fast-paced line, ensure adherence to GMPs and quality standards, and drive production schedules, safety, and continuous improvement while managing overtime.
Chicago Meat Authority (CMA) is proud to have celebrated 36 years in the food industry. Located in Chicago’s historic Stockyards, CMA is a forward-thinking processor of value added beef, pork, and poultry items with a strong focus on selling the Healthcare, Hotel, and Institutional Markets (HRI), meat purveyors, and Multi-unit regional and national chains up to and including big box stores. In addition, CMA specializes in custom cuts for further processors including but not limited to grinding operations, deli manufacturers, and the prepared entrée market.
CMA is looking for an individual with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment and is experienced in managing meat production operations. This role is responsible for the production of all end products whether fresh or frozen from processing through packaging and shipment including management, coordination and supervision of all production employees. Success in this role requires a motivating, collaborative approach to team leadership and a commitment to achieving shared goals.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience.
