Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, animal science or related field.
• 1–3 years of meat/USDA facility manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Effective communication and training skills.
• Familiarity with meat processing equipment.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of OSHA and general safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes teamwork and productivity while managing production activities.
• Participates in food safety programs to ensure product safety.
• Drives safety programs and conducts training and inspections.
• Drives continuous improvement and employee involvement.
• Ensures compliance with safety programs, audits, and policies.
• Oversees production rates, equipment, and quality.
