Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8 individuals – including Colorist Team, Technical Design Team, and Production Assistants.
• Oversee entire company’s production across multiple factories, including the management of 10k SKUs placed annually.
• Create and maintain production schedules to ensure all factories are on track for on-time delivery.
• Resolve production-related issues in a timely and professional manner – collaborate with sales and design teams when necessary.
• Proactively handle delivery extensions and shortages.
• Negotiate with factories to hit better pricing; work with director of sourcing to cross-source items and secure best prices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure audits are up to date, and when expired, are obtained timely.
• Understand cost implications with design changes and collaborate with creative teams to meet vision.
• Monitor production quality by partnering with QC team in China and manage issues across factories.
• Track and manage WIP reports from the factory.

CP Brands Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Manager to join our team. Must have childrenswear experience. This is a full-time position based in our NY Office. This role will report into the VP of Production and Sourcing

• Have a strong understanding of cost implications associated with design changes and collaborate with the creative teams to ensure that the product still meets their vision.
• Monitor production quality by partnering with QC team stationed in China and ensure that all requirements are met. Manage and track all issues from each factory and lead conversations with management teams on the production side.
