Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Tumwater, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping injection and blow molding lines productive. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, support spare parts management, and train operators on repairs and conversions.

The role requires forklift and elevated lift certification, Arc Flash training, and the ability to work shifts. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to improve reliability and safety across production equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Must have maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Forklift certification and Elevated Lift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and ensure reliability of injection and blow molding equipment.
• Assist in SAP/FMS work orders and improvements.
• Train production staff on machine conversions and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Review safety and LOTO procedures; assist in creating work instructions.
• Support maintenance on blow, injection, and facilities during shifts.
