Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Turners Falls, MA to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery and plant blow mold equipment, ensuring GMP compliance.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and attention to detail. OSHA forklift certification is preferred; 2+ years of maintenance experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Preferred: 2+ years maintenance experience.
• Preferred: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Preferred: OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses; inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Troubleshoot root causes and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
