Job summary

Amcor in Lawrence, KS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on injection molding equipment. You will conduct routine inspections, execute maintenance tasks, and perform minor repairs to support production goals.

Responsibilities include lubrication, cleaning, parts replacement, documenting findings, and maintaining safe, clean work areas. You will read blueprints, participate in training, and contribute to safety and efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to enter apprenticeship programs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good math and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, parts replacement).
• Inspect equipment regularly and document findings.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and machines.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Record maintenance activities accurately.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Perform additional tasks assigned.
