Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the production of plastic film by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery. The role requires troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

Candidates should have vocational education in two of the listed areas and be able to read prints and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Vocational education or equivalent demonstrated skills in two of the listed areas.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, mechanical, or PLC controls.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities performed.
• Follow plant safety policies to maintain zero-recordable-accident standard.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to support production uptime.
