Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Production Supervisor in Michigan to lead an hourly team, drive safety, quality and productivity, and implement Lean initiatives. The role emphasizes servant leadership, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with the union and management to sustain high performance.

You’ll manage shifts, develop teams, and relentlessly pursue efficiency while ensuring exceptional product quality and safe operations across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–7+ years of supervisory or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated stamping operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated hourly team to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Act as safety champion, enforcing regulations and fostering vigilance.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across processes.
• Utilize data to reduce downtime and defects and report attendance.
• Collaborate with union and management to improve efficiency and culture.
